Hollywood & Los Angeles
Therapy in Hollywood — in person, or online anywhere in California.
My Hancock Park office is minutes from Hollywood. Most sessions happen online, but if you want a dedicated room close to where you live and work, it's right there off Larchmont.
Hollywood is a particular kind of pressure cooker.
The industry runs on performance, and after a while the performance starts running you. You learn to pitch yourself, to manage perception, to project confidence you may or may not be feeling. The gap between who you are in the room and who you are when you get home — that gap is where a lot of suffering quietly accumulates.
I've spent twenty-some years in this city. I came up in the arts, toured in bands, worked with makers and musicians and people who build things. The entertainment world is not foreign territory to me. Neither is the particular exhaustion that comes from living and working inside it.
Two ways to work together
In person — Hancock Park office
My office is on Larchmont Boulevard in Hancock Park, a few minutes from Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and Koreatown. A quiet, private room — the same chair, the same hour, the same space holding the work. I see in-person clients three days a week.
Online — anywhere in California
Most of my clients work with me virtually. Secure video, wherever you are in California. Same depth, no drive. If your schedule is unpredictable or you travel frequently, the virtual format tends to be easier to keep consistent than in-person would be.
Who I work with
Artists and makers — musicians, writers, directors, designers, actors, founders — whose creative and interior lives are tangled up in ways that are hard to separate. Adults who've built something real in this industry and are quietly wondering whether it's theirs. People carrying anxiety, creative block, addiction, or the particular weight of sustained ambition in a city that runs on it. Couples. Teenagers.
My fluency is in narrative therapy and philosophical Taoism. Narrative therapy says you are not your problem — it lives in the stories handed to you before you had any say in them, and we can rewrite those stories. Taoism says stop fighting your own nature: all energy has a correct course, and the work is pointing yours back toward it.
I'm not here to be a blank screen nodding at you while years pass. I'll tell you what I see, I'll stay in the work with you, and I could not be more serious about your change.
My rate is $275 per session — private pay, out-of-network, superbills provided for reimbursement. A few sliding-scale spots held open each season. Everything starts with a free twenty-minute call.
